Default k&n air or not

want to put k&n assembly on my truck figured i would get some input before i open my wallet. is there a better air cleaner?

I think it depends on who you are talking to . I like it though. Had one in my old truck and loved it.

well i have the cold air intake the big long tube thing? haha i dont have the drop in so i cant speak for that, but the whole thing adds horse power and better mpg

The drop-in is just a filter, you'll see no improvement over a conventional paper filter.

To be honest, the only improvement I noticed with the CAI is better throttle response, and a slightly more aggressive exhaust note. No difference in MPG's...

more mpg would be great im only gettin 12 in the city i used to have a hemi and got 15 in the city i dont get it.

p.s how did u get that pic in the post i tryed but it keeps coming up as a thumbnail

You mean my signature???

I have it hosted on my web server, then I just use the img tags to call it... Just make sure you RESIZE the pic to at least 800x600 or less if you're going to post a pic like that.... (Or if you're trying to put something in your signature it has to be 500x250 or less)

P.S. - You might want to get a new acount that doesn't display your email address as your user name... There's a lot of bots out there that search forums like these for usable emails to spam the hell out of... Just a suggestion...

actually I used a program called Ulead Gif Animator... And it's a free program...
