Default Brake lights for 2007

Who else can't stand the brake lights on the 07 pickups? Looks likeDodge lost a bet and had to put the ugliest set of brake lights on the truck they could find! Does anyone know if you can swap out with the smooth rounded brake lights that were on the 03-06's?

Thanks

Yes, you can but it's more than just replacing the lense. You have to replace EVERYTHING inside and out to change the lights. If memory serves all in all for the parts it's something like a few hundred dollars to do this mod.

you can find a pair on ebay for under 100.00. but it is not just an easy swap. they will bolt right on, but will have to rewire. not as easy as it sounds.

I put '07 tail lights in my '06 when I put my 57 LED bulb in and had to shim them to fit properly along with the rewiring. You may have to do the opposite.
