what upgrade?
Hi, new guy here. I did a search, but found very little. I have a 2004 QCLB 4x4w/Hemi, I bought a camper(cab-over) the dealer told me it weighs about 2400lbs. My ? is should I go with a programmer or should I get gears first?
To answer your question, I'd say 4.56s, maybe even 4.88s. Airbags aren't the only issue you'll be dealing with, though. Brakes will become an issue with that much overload. Axle capacity may come into play, as well. Good luck.
That's a monster camper for your truck. Way overloaded. Brakes, shocks, springs, axle, wheels, the whole chassis, etc... You are putting way too much stress on the truck unless it's a 3500 and even then you are slightly overloaded.
That dealer should've known better than to sell you that much camper. Hopefully, you can get out of the deal.
