Hey guys! Im new to the forum and wanted to say hi and introduce myself. My name is Tom and i live in Bismarck, ND. I Bought a white07 Ram QC. I have been slowly fixing it up the way i want it. I just bought a reflexxion ram air cowl hood for it and am getting it painted tomorrow. Im on the fence about painting it white or painting it black, painting the grille surround black, (its chrome now), and then adding a rumble bee style stripe around the rear. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks for your time gang!!!

I agree that the black hood wouldn't look the best with what you got, it would be too busy looking and not enough to pull it all together to make it flow, stay with the white and add little things to make it unque. If you match the hood to the grill in white that would be nice. Or maybe an aftermarket grill?

Welcome and congrats on the truck. Good choice on the color!.. White Rams are faster than the rest.

 

I'm with the crowd on this one, have the hood color matched. In my neck of the woods the most common vehicles runnin' around with black hoods are the "ricers" who think it makes it look like Carbon Fiber or something.....along with their "fart cans", "speed tape" (tape on the seams of the vehicle to make it more aerodynamic), and HP stickers (you know, putting a "Gready" sticker on makes it have 10 more RWHP automatically). Those are sorta what I benchmark against....if it looks "ricey" I have failed and must re-think the whole thing

Yeah, it kind of reminds me of a camper shell that doesn't match. Paint it white.
