well im not taking them straight out the back im taking them out to the sides behind the rear tires.

 

JMO, but i think it looks A LOT better out the back vs. the side.

 

there is a pic in my gallery of the back of my truck. I had a split rear system made. They are 4 in tips and I think they are 12-15 inches long.

 

looks good...thats basically what im going to do. i went ahead today and bought the 18" tips so maybe i can get them cut shorter but the tips i wanted were only on ebay...i got black chrome stainless steel tips...is it important at all to get new mufflers? i was just gonna get all piping from the converter back.

 

you don't want any mufflers? I not really sure if you need them for any reason. Your truck will be loud as hell! Mine is loud as hell and I have a muffler...a small one, but its there. I didn't have the rear resonator put on with the new system.

 

i dont want it to be too loud. my intake already makes it pretty loud. what kind of muffler should i get? how much do they run? do i need 1 or 2

 

Are you looking at running true dual or straight pipes?
