Default Upcoming upgrades

Well, I started getting myself excited about buying a new truck and trading in the 05. There is nothing wrong with the 05, but new is new.

Well, dodge.com lied about inventory, the truck I wanted is not on the lot. I pondered ordering, then said screw it. Keep the 05 and upgrade.

3-4" suspension lift (screw it if it does not fit into the garage)
17" MT Classic Locks (that is your fault Pirata, will send you the bill)
Some big MT radials to help fill that bigger wheel well.
Maybe a push bar with some lights, would hate to have to cut my bumper to get one on.

Anyone have pics of their push bars on a sport truck? Did you have to cut your bumper?

To bad about the inventory, but upgrading your 05 would look good, new feel to the truck...

Default RE: Upcoming upgrades

I made the same choice two years ago when my '04 was still almost bone stock. I wanted a CTD 4x4 real bad, but with the '04 paid off and not worth squat in trade with only 20k miles on it, I decided to start moddin' myself.
I can't say I ever got over wanting a CTD, but I love my truck just the way I have it right now and the pride I get every time I look at it/drive it, knowing I've done 90% of the work myself, more than makes up for not having a diesel.
I ended up getting a Grand Cherokee for a daily driver to keep the miles down on the truck and at just shy of 4 years old with only 38k miles on it, it still looks new. I'm gonna finish up with a cam and torque converter and then enjoy it for a few years before even thinking about replacing it.
I say, MOD THE HELL OUT OF IT!!!
