It should be quicker than the Hemi.

I did but you can check my thread "it's offical" and find out why I won't be.

 

I took delivery of an '08 QC 4X4 with the 4.7 and 6 speed on December 1st. A great truck! Everthing I had hoped it would be. The new tweeked 4.7 bolted up to the 6 speed makes for a great combination. I'm not much for racing, so I can't compare it to a hemi, but even with the weight of a QC it's a fast truck, quick off the line. I cannot comment on towing, though my truck is equipped with the tow package, I have not had the opportunity to tow anything yet, and don't really expect to, except only on rare occasions. I did have the opportunity to run it in 4X4 this past week end after a we received close to a foot of snow that was drifted by 40 mile an hour winds. it did great, had no problems plowing through anything I came across.
