Default For those who want to disable their MDS

I have an '05 so it's not an issue for me, but for those of you who want to disable the MDS feature of your truck and have the PCM tuned at the same time this might be an attractive offer.

is it an option on the tuner to turn the MDS off? it would be nice to be able to turn it off and on when ever you want. tune it to be disabled, however be able to return it back to on.

great find by the way for all those guys who hate the MDS with their exhaust. i heard borla exhaust has a special system made just for the Hemi MDS

i dont have MDS my self, for obvious reasons....started in 06

but from what i hear OH YA its gonna affect your exhaust big time when it kicks into MDS. i hear it sounds like sh*t. you might wanna look into this tuner that turns off your MDS. good idea by mopar to make a more fuel efficient hemi, however i dont think they really planned on after market exhause and flow systems....maybe they didnt and just didnt care...i dont know.....

i also dont know if it'll affect your performance but i hear you can definatly hear it with aftermarket exhaust!

Drive around in tow/haul mode...it'll disable the MDS and you'll still have o/d.

The question about exhaust sound and MDS comes up everytime. I find it funny. I have had my FM Super 40 almost since I got the truck. I had both resonators and the muffler removed prior to installation. Yes, I note the different sound when the MDS kicks in but oh friggin well. Jesus, my exhaust has the nice throaty sound I am looking for, when I cruise the hwy at 70+ MDS doesn't kick in, trust me, the sound in the cab is throaty at all times, MDS or not, barring you have installed the sound deadener.

B&G has always had a solid reputation for great custom tunes on highly modified track vehicles.

It Multi Displacement System. It shuts the 06+ hemi's down to 4 cyl. under the proper condtions. (load, speed, rpms.)

I also find it funny. I run the magnaflow with no resonators, and it does not bother me at all. it still is low and throaty tone, it isn't instant ricer sound or instant resonation.
