RE: DIY bed liner
A guy at work has the spray on kit. has had it for years and it looks good. I will probably do the same kit, after i ask him wich one it was. I have the guns and everything from when i paintied cars.
That said. the trick to getting ANY paint job to look good is in the prep work. Every little flaw is magnified 10 times as the product is sprayed on.

You can spray the Herculiner bedliner through a dry wall texture gun at 50psi. This is the one I used. http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...temnumber=2471 I did my Jeep tub that way and it looked close to the texture of Line-X. To do my whole Jeep tub, which is harder to do than a pick up bed, took two days from start to finish. That was taking out all the seats and interior and re-installing everything. You don't have to sand, but you do have to scuff the bed with the scotch brite pad that comes with the kit. After you get done with the bedliner you can paint it with Herculiner's UV protectant that will stop it from fading. Also, Herculiner has a $25 rebate right now. Here's a link, http://www.herculiner.com/specialoffer.html

RE: DIY bed liner
i have a really nice tonnea cover and its water proof. when i got it installed they switched me a over the rail liner for a under the rail liner and they cleaned out my bed for me. i dont really care if it doesnt look that great i just dont want it to rust. i think im gonna put a layer or 2 on there and then put the bed liner insert back in it.

Man, to tell ya the truth, if I had a nice truck like yours, I wouldn't even think about doing a DIY if you don't have experience. I'd get it done professionally if I were you because they do a perfect job with warranty and everything is coated evenly. Arma and Linex are the best if you want a durable, clean-looking finish. If you want a rhino spray, it is more of a rubberish look/feeling, for many who have those are those who do construction and put bigger and many objects in their beds. I don't really like the look of those really. I'd def. do the DIY stuff if it was an older truck, but for about $450, I'd rather have it done the right way if you have no experience.
