You know, I've had that amp for about 4 years and it just keeps pounding away. For the money, its one hell of a amp. A long time ago when I had the M3 12's, I used the 300.1 and it was great too. I would love to get a Diamond amp or something high dollar but the JBL just won't quit.

i tell you what i know the guy in my town that sells the diamond subs and he sells diamond amps too but he pushes the jbl amps more than the diamond amps just for that fact that they are a really good price and they have some serious punch behind them i couldn't be happier, i went from a kenwood 1000w to the 600 and my gosh it was like night and day.

Don't expect deep bass with shallow subs as that don't have the excursion as normal ones but Jl makes the W3 and W1 wich are pretty shallow and are good quality. If you want cheaper set go with kicker compVT but kicker's known for spl which is just loud and moves alot of air but the bass is sloppy. If you could fit them get alpine type r's. For you, get 10" as they'll sound tighter for country and rock. Go with a sealed enclousure under the back seats if you can afford it becuase those boxes get expensive.
