I am looking into replacing my stock headlights that suck. I all ready did the 9005 Mod to my driving lights that help.
I do not want HID conversion.
I saw at my local part store that they had StreetGlow 9007 lamps that are rated at 80w low and 100w high. They all so have 9006 80w for the driving lights. Do you think it would be all right with me using them as is or do you think I would need the upgrade plugs sockets?
Any info would be great
Thank you,

I am not informed on the StreetGlow bulbs but I have been using the Hella off-road 80w/100w headlight bulbs and also the Hella 80w foglight bulbs since 2005 in my 2005 Ram with no problems. I did upgrade with the plug-n-play heavy duty harnesses at the time of initial installation on both the headlights and foglights. I'm not sure if that was completely necessary or not but it was a suggestion that made sense to me.

I am using the KYO high temperature, heavy duty adapter harness:

Look for the 9006 & 9007 'blue colored' harness adapters; they work very well.
