Default Odd Superchips 3815 Issue
OK, here it is if I can explain it right. When my truck is programmed with the 3815 to the 87 Tune, only other adjustment is speed limiter and tire size, I get a check engine light, the code is 420, which is a bad O2 sensor. The CEL comes on after about half a tank. I cleared the CEL and set back to stock to get ready to take to the shop. Now 2 tanks later no CEL. I have gotten the light three times when the truck is programmed. Any ideas? I want the CEL on so I can get the O2 sensor replaced under warranty.

Wow, thats an odd one.Sorry, no idea what might be causing this issue. Does it repeat on the performance tune?

Hmmm lets see. Programmer on, CEL on. No programmer, no CEL. Might this be a programmer malfunction.

Since the economy tune might be leaning things out, that may be the diffence in the exhaust, tripping your O2 sensor.
