Check out Diamondback products. Their covers are diamond plate, so they are a bit more industrial looking than some of the nicer painted models, but they open front and rear for convenience and can be removed in 3 pieces so 1 man can easily remove it for those occasions. No need to paint match since they are aluminum and obviously weather is not an issue.
Plus, you can haul up to a 400lb load on top of the bedcover and still access the tailgate.

They are awesome from a "usable" standpoint.

does the bak-flip lock? so you have to use a key to open it?

 

The Bak-Flip does lock, you have to open the tailgate to open the cover, so all you have to do is put a locking tailgate on and you're good to go. I put a Bully Tailgate latch on, works great...
