yeah ill be totally honest when they first came out, I wasnt diggin the looks either. I was looking into a hemi or a titan. After driving it though, my mind was made up. Pulled a hell of alot harder than either. The looks grew on me, and now i can honestly say it looks pretty bad ***. But i guess its all in the eyes of the beholder. Hell we even have some first gen tundra owners that think out 2nd gen is butt ugly.

ooh, i really like the 1st gen tundras. those are nice! but they only look good with a mild lift though. they also need to have exhaust. if theyre bone stock, then theyre not too nice.

 

yeah, i had an 01' tundra before this tundra w/ a 3 inch lift, 33 inch tires, dual flowmasters. looked pretty clean, and for some reason, my 4.7 almost sounded as loud as my current 5.7. Can you tell the difference in the ram 4.7 vs 5.7 as far as the exhaust note?

 

i dunno. i dont think so. because i see a lot of rams running by me. 5.7's and 4.7's. i think tehey do sound the same. a lot of people debadge their trucks. i mean, in cali (you would know), everyone wants to have the sickest looking ride. so they do everything to it. debadging is a must. so i dunno if ive heard 4.7's or 5.7's. chances are i have heard both. they both sound deep. everytime i hear a ram coming down, they sound the same. usually theyve got flowmasters. you can tell because flowmasters are supposedly the loudest things out. but i hear those 4.7 1st gen tundras (one of my buddies used to have one), and they sound nice.
