I get 12.8 city and 16.2 HWY! I have 37" Nitto Mud Grapplers to boot on my 2005 1500 Quad Cab! In order to boost the MPG I have installed;
K&N Cold air intake, Power Aid Throttle Body Spacer, Flow Master Exhaust, Super Chip (running regular unleaded) So you can improve your MPG it just costs more out of the opocket up front!

wow, I have the same truck as you except it's a 07 with a catback....if i'm light on the gas I get 15ish city and 22+ going 65. I couldn't get mine to 6.3 even ifI tried...the lowest i've had it in the city is around 12mpg.

I've never done inner city driving, but if you are getting 6 then something maybe wrong. Do a few stretches ona flathighway at 60mphand see if you can get around 20-21. If not, then there might be something wrong with your injectors or MDS.

Yeah, My wife got me with those pics, she took the truck to the market, came back and is panicing, saying "I did something to your truck, it's not right,etc." then showed me the pics.
Realistically, I am getting around 16.9-17.1 cruising at 57-63 mph, it drops to around 16.3 when I get it up to 67-70mph. I have never gotten below 14mpg even around town, up hills, foot into it, etc. I love this truck.....
