40 Series on 06 5.7 ?
Hello,
I just bought a 06 ram, quad cab with a 5.7 hemi, it has a K&N intake, and im about to stick single in dual out flowmaster...Would the 40 series be the best thing to put on?? Im still learning about the Ram and thought this would be a good place to get some opinions, thanks

"best"? I best is such a releative term...
The 40 series has a nice growl on it, I've got one, love the sound. I've got the 40 series, and several times I've had people say "that hemi sounds sweet" and my truck is a 4.7L. Unfortunately, noise is about all you'll get from a flowmaster, the muffler is fairly restrictive comparded to Borla or Magnaflow. I didn't notice any change in power or mileage when I put my exhaust on. Just my $0.02

Look under "most commonly discussed topics" and read the exhaust thread!!! Plenty to read there, and just confuse the hell out of you...
Depends on what you're looking for, more performance, or just better sound???
Flowmasters are better for sound, and you've got a couple of other choices for better flow for better performance...
I just wanted a somewhat louder truck, and went with the Flowmaster 50 series HD, which was actually made for the Hemi motor.. It sounds good to my ears.. You can check out the vids in my signature for a better idea...

I have a magnaflow on mine. I do get some racket in the interior when i stomp on it but for me its liveable. Not too loud. Not too quiet. Its a nice deep throaty rumble.
