I guess you better get the tool. Wouldn't want anyone getting hurt.

I've installed several without it (didn't even know it existed) but I don't wanna hear someone got hurt off my bad advice!

If I could remember the tool that I used I would let you know what it was, because that one is at almost any parts store.

I have never used a c-clamp or a torsion bar tool and i've had mine in and out more than i'd like to admit.

Just disconnect the lower shock bolt and that will allow the a-arm to drop down further, back the key bolt all the way out now and your good to go. It should slide right out....no tension, no worries, no bull****
