Default Throttle Body Spacer Help?

Hey everyone, I am new to the Dodge scene. I recently bought an '04 Ram 1500 Crew Cab with the 4.7L V8

I am looking to get some better gas mileage, from what I have read so far a throttle body spacer could help with this? So I am wondering which brand of spacer I should go with?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I know for a fact, that it DOES NOT help the Hemi engine. In fact, most report degraded performance. I'd tend to say things would be the same with the 4.7, but maybe a couple 4.7 guys who've tried one will chime in...

I think I saw a guy post on here one time about a TB spacer:

I'd tell you my opinion on TB spacers, but instead here's a picture of dog****.

LOL.

Save your money. Just a fancy paper-weight from every review I've heard.

I have a 2005 and I didn't notice any difference at all after I installed a "Power Aid" spacer! And the whistle sounds cool when you punch it off the line (kindof like a turbo) but when you are going on a longer trip it gets really annoying! If you want any chance at bettering your gas milage park it and drive a motorcycle! I have it chipped, K&N, throttle body spacer and still get 12-15 MPG
