i thought i was gettin 12 in the city, but last time i filled uo i held the reset button 4 a couple min and i started gettin 15. i checked it with pen and paper and it was right. gunk has always been good to me,i would try taking off the air filter box and cleaning the throttle body before dumping chemicals in ur truck. my.02

lol its called a plenum, your tb is right behind it. you may have a mass air sensor on the plenum that needs to be disc depending on the age of your truck, you can either just swab the front of the tb with brake cleaner or you can take off the tb and clean it well, you'll need a tb gasket.

I've been using Gunk products for a while with no complaints. I usually give him a dose when I change the oil. I may switch to Seafoam next time, though.

Not a direct answer to your question, but have you recalibrated your speedo/odo for larger tires?

Driving habits has a lot to do with it also...try to keep it under 2000 rpms in the city when accelerating. Taking the TB off is self explanatory...even if you've never turned a wrench you should be ok. Just pop the hood and go at it...

If your tires are larger than stock, your gas mileage will calculate (both on the read out and pen & paper) not to mention your speedo will be off. You may be getting the same mileage most of the rest of us are, and not know it. Re-calibrate for the tires, then check your mpg's...

you can get the "superchip" It is an easy way to recalibrate your speedo for your tires! And also gives you more options for performance! Not too bad for the price since you can plug it into your computer and update it any time they come out with new upgrades for your truck! I would not but hyper tech!! Will not adjust speedo for 5.7L hemi's
