As long as you did not sand the paint off, you can use tripoli buffing compound, a buffing wheel, and a lot of elbow grease. They will polish up like chrome if you have the tools and patients. I polish aluminum on a regular basis for some motorcycle parts I build. It just takes time and heat.

Id go with hard polishing then clear powdercoat to protect all your hard work and keep em nice for a long time.

theres this stuff called blue job i use it on my harley.....one of the only things i use....its expensive but it works.....other then that if you dont mind the dull look id say spray it withy the truck bed liner.... it gets dry it gives it a almost rubbery hard coat......protection and it looks good.....i use iton the underbody of my truck everysummer because of the salt used in michigan during the winter time.....they have different colors too so.....
