Default Blend Doors.. an issue??

I read a thread somewhere about someone having trouble with the blend doors on their Ram... i have an 03 and i know that the Grand Cherokees had a nighmarish problem with these. I just want to make sure that in my truck this isnt a plague type problem. I only have a single cab with the basic A/C stuff.

Let me know
THanks

The doors which direct the heat/AC tend to go a little wacky, according to some people.

Have had the issue (like just about everyone else) with my '02 Grand Cherokee Overland. Took me an entire weekend to pull the dash, disconnect everything, replace the lousy $100 blend doors and recirc. It is a nightmare, but I was not about to pay the stealership the $1400 they quoted me ($1200 just for labor!!!)
Have heard of the issue on Rams, but not near the degree that plagues the Grand Cherokees...

My old '02 had a SERIOUS issue with the blend doors on the passenger side. The vent doors wouldn't open at all and the heat doors NEVER shut, so even if the A/C was on, it would blow hot air on the passenger side. Sucked. Turned out to be a vacuum line...
