Are all the grill inserts interchangeable on 03-06 rams? I want to replace my horizontal chrome slatted grill with the more subtle black hexagonal mesh, but I called the dealership to compare part numbers and they said that there were different parts depending on whether it is a chrome grill surround or body colored...[sm=bangbang.gif]

Anybody know if they all work together?

 

Hey I want to change my hexagonal mesh for the horizontal chrome slatted grills. Wanna swap?

Don't know for sure if the 04 and 03 are interchangeable. Don't see why they wouldn't be as most everything else is.

I've never heard of someone going with the honeycomb over the whoreisanal ones.
Has anyone seen in person the aftermaket verticle ones?

 

Where are you located and maybe we can work something out?

The truck was bought to tow my Acura Legend to shows and I have a similar mesh grill on the Legend that I'd like to echo with the truck. Besides, chrome doesn't really mesh with my SN



Also - are there screws/bolts holding the inserts in, or just those pop in fasteners? I looked on the back of my grill to check it out and all I saw were plastic fasteners...maybe I missed something, or do you have to remove the whole grill assembly to pull them out?
