Default Update on Truck

Okay, Today, went to get my truck, the guy said it started fine, got home, waited on bf to get off work, went to my uncles. All in all, Idrove it for about an hour today and it never overheated.

They spent the whole night taking it apart and all we know at this point is, the passenger side cylinder head is NOT messed up in any form and I need to buy new gaskets for everything..

We are going over there again tomorrow to get the drivers side apart to take it to a shop so they can look at it to tell us if its messed up.

Wish me luck, Ill update tomorrow night.

Rebelz do candians go off of metric time, what are you still doing up or up this early?

Dodges just need maint, no way around it. but the good thing is a lot of repair work can be done by yourself.

Good to hear its not overheating, heat will kill an engine. ... Duh....

I just changed my plugs at 31k they looked bad, not horrible but glad I took 45 min and did it.

Good to hear that! Make sure you change the thermostat just in case that it is sticking! I'm sure your Uncle will but I thought I'd mention it.

GOOD LUCK!!

It leaks in the bottom corners of the back glass. The weather stripping is old/brittle, I have a new one sitting in my room, I just need money to have someone put it in..
