Default flowmaster super 44s

I'm planning on getting these along with LTs and a x-pipe. Does anyone have any experience with these? (how they sound and flow). It says its thier highest performing 4" muffler they haveso I'm assuming they flow good.

I just put one on my 2002 Ram 4.7 L last week and I think it sounds great! Of course I think it sounds great because I replaced the factory muffler! I'd recommend it to you. I don't know that I can hear a difference between the 44 and the 40 series though.

What pipe sizes did you get on the muffler?

I kept my stock pipes which are 3 inch. I opted out of the dual exhaust to save 180 dollars. I was also told that the dual exhaust wouldn't actually help me since I was just doing a cat-back exhaust... supposedly a single exit exhaust is actually better in my case. And I think it sounds just as good if not better than dual exhaust. I think it "cackles" a bit more than the dual system.

Yea I know its gonna be loud, lol. I might hold off on the Lt's for a while but I can't resist an exhaust much longer.

CAI, LT Headers and Flowmaster 50HD here. Nice deep rumble at idle, not too loud. Normal driving is a little on the loud side, not terrible and the addition of the Headers didn't make it any louder, but gave it a much deeper rumble. Now whenI get on it, I get complaints from the neighbors...

I was surfing through youtube and came across the aero turbine 3030 and they sound great on the hemi. Completely dropped the flowmaster idea and just got through ordering 2 aero turbine 2525's, 2.5" x-pipe, and 3.5" tips! Cant wait!

Thanks for allthe help though.

They sound great.....flow not so great. If you want performance go with a straight-through muffler/s..like magnaflow or some hooker muffs.
