Default Help with tires

I have a 05 QCSB 4x4 ram 1500 4.7 that I want to put 37's on but can't due to the IFS. So now I am going to go with 35x12.5x17 tires on the truck. I am between3 tires right now and would greatly appreciate all the info in terms of treadwear, performance, and noise levels for these three tires. The tires I am looking at are the BFG KM2's, Toyo open country MT's, and the Mickey Thompson baja claw-radial tires. I know that all three are pretty good, but I would really appreciate what all of the info you can provide.

I would go with the TOYO's.If you live the aggressive look they will work for you and the tread life on them are phenomonnal for a M/T tire.

I would go Toyo's with no looking back. Best looking mud I have ever seen and they perform too.

With out a doubt I would go with the Nitto Mud Grappler! Not only are they the best and coolest looking mud tire, but they turn heads from 5 blocks away! So yes they have road noise, but that is half the fun of having a bad *** truck with mudders! You will get used to the road noise after a while! Do your exhaust and throw in a stereo and you will never hear them anyway! The Nitto is not as expensive as the tires you are looking at and I have 35,000 miles on mine and I have about 1/2 tread left!

The Toyo's are a good tire, but they are border line A/T tires! Not a true Mud Tire!

I really like the toyo's, but I have my eye on the MIC THOMPS 35x12.5 baja claw radial and classic 17x9 rim packagefor 1600. That is not a bad price. Is there anyone out there who has mileage, noise, and performance info on that tire?

Anyone with info on the Mic Thombaja claw radials vs toyo MT's? Can anyone draw a comparison between treadwear expectancy, noise levels, and on/off road performance?

The coolest tires I found were Pit Bulls. Problem is they don't come less than 14.5" so I didn't get them. Think when my Nitto Extreme MT's (which is what I vote for BTW) wear down, not too long, they wear terribly on the highway, I may try to pick a set up.

You have two threads going that are really the same. I answered you in the other one...
