I voted yes, I mean, it's your truck, do with it whatever the F&(k you want. Hell, I've seen people that took the old cadillacs and Lincolns, lifted them and rolled them on 44's. Now that's redneck!!

Nothing wrong with it, I just think they need to put a locker in it, and make sure they have some meaty tires. If they do that, they should have no problem going where the best of 'em go.

Nothing wrong with it at all. If you like the look, and dont need the 4wd, why not. It's not different than the thousands of jacked up 4x4's you see that are pavement queens. At least the 4x2 guys are smart enough to save the money if they know they dont need it.

I just like the look of a lifted truck! Even though I have never had a 2wd full-size truck, I see nothing wrong with doing a lift for the look or the ground clearance if that's what you want to do to your truck...

Not according the the overall vote but in my case not just a no but a HELL NO! Lifting a 4x2 is a wannabe thing to do. For those who wanna "look" like they have a 4x4 but were too cheap to spring for one. IMHO, lifting a 4x2 makes as much sense as putting an elevator in an outhouse. It just does not belong.

thanks ive been trying to think of what word best describes it, i kept coming up with poser.

like i have said before putting a lift and A/Ts on a 2wd makes as much sense as taking a ***** to dinner, youre still gonna get f{U}cked in the end.
