Default rear end grinding

Hi Guys,

It's been a while since I have been on. I have a question though. I have an '02 1500 quad cab and every time I turn to the right I hear a type of grinding noise from what sounds like the rear end. No noise when I turn left.
Is this a bearing going bad or maybe something with the 4WD?
Thanks.

If you have the LSD you probubly lost a "C" clip and the lsd is eating itself for lunch.

Change the diff fluid and check things out inside. If everything is good check ALL of your U-joints. Our 04' 2500 4x4 Had exact same thing. I would have bet on rearend but it turned out it was the front axel u-joints both shot at 26000 mi w/NO muddin' also rear driveshaft u-joints both went at 24000mi. Rearend is supposed to be changed at 12000 or 15000miles anyway.
