question about leveling out my 2005 ram qc
ok so i am going to purchasee hte daystar front spacers for my truck and then buy some cheapo pro comp es3000 shocks and i was curious on what kind of shop i could go to to get this installe if anyone knows let me know and one more thing i only need to purchase 2 shocks right and they add the 2 in extension or what im sorta lost thanx again?
your truck wont work with the spacer since you have a torsion bar front end. You'll need the leveling keys or do what i did and just crank the bars. All i got was new longer shocks then i was done.
Cranking the bars gives you a rougher ride. If that dont bother you, good deal. RaiderJay6 said he dropped his *** end to make his level. How he did it, i dont know but it sounds good and maybe even cheaper. Its an ave im gonna check out myself.
my truck is a 2wd and i think the spacers work but if not i know what i could do drop the *** end with drop shackles in the rear very cheap but i dont know what kind of shop would do that if anyone knows what shop would do that let me now thanx
I have the drop shackles on my truck, I think they were about $80 from slammed1..I also used spring clamps and it dropped my rear about 2"..If you are mechanically inclined and have a ratchet set, jack, jack stands you can install the shackles yourself in about an hr
they make leveling kits for 2wd's....i dont have enough info on dropping the *** or raising the front, i have the power of the internet to assist me, id suggest you do the same
ok i was looking on rough country and they dont make a leveling kit for a 2wd dodge ram 1500 but the have a 2 in suspension lift for the front and all it is 2 front coils that raise up 2 in do u think that will be good and require no other parts for the level out
and if u know a shop that could do that let me know thanx???? feed back on my ideas would be grately appreciated

Id rather use just coils than the spacers ive seen. Sounds like a better idea to me. As for shocks, im not sure if you need longer ones or not. As for a shop, open a phone book where you live. Im sure most any shop can handle that job.
oh I didn't see you had a 2wd but i think they make spacers for them but if you can get a whole coils thats better. I would definetly raise the front rather than lower the back.
