dude, leave them off! ive seen a lot of trucks where it looks good, but on yours..id leave it off. i think your truck looks sick as it is. maybe some lift or something and other mods..but id leave off the stripe. just my opinion

 

Your right man...I'm gonna leave it off...have the hood scoop on its way and looking into Nerf bars...Preferably OVAL...anyone got any they wanna sell cheap? hehe lol

 

I have a set of the #4's that I never got around to putting on my truck... when I laid them up on it, just didnt look like I could get it lined up just the way I thought it would look right so I left it naked for now.

if/when i go get my steps those WILL be it. i love those from dodge and thats about the best price ive seen since its less than half of what the dealer will sell it for. id like to leave off my steps but my girlfriend has a little trouble getting in and im geting 35" tires which are gonna make a couple inches higher, so i will probally have to get them. especially for my mom thats only 5'0" lol.

The girl complains...Can't live with them, can't live without them... I think our truck, with or without the steps still look sick..Plus the nerfs will give it that extra "chrome" bling if you will.. lol

 

mine doesnt complain, i just thought it would be nice since she has to jump into the truck and shes 5'5.and on the plus side i have a body lift so you can see some of the bottom of the frame, and the steps would cover that. not looking for extra bling though lol. i dont like too much chrome. i cant put any more on mine bc if i do i think itll be too much. good choice by leaving off the bed stripe though man.

 

I dont think a flat black stripe would look bad...somewhat ghost look, you would have to pay attn to notice it.

I was looking at your truck again, and it appears that you dont have the door chrome molding. I say, thats good, due to the fact your right when you say any more chrome wouldn't be beneficial to its looks. The mopar ovals and youll be "chromed" out..haha

 

with the step bars that would be it on chrome before i hit the overboard line. but really when you think about it....its not all that much, the only extra is my bull bar and door handles. but because of the grille, rims, headlightsand bumpers it makes it borderline before it get too much. that pic needs to be updated though.. have new headlights and a leveling kit since then, but im waiting for my tires to come for a new sig.
