Default 06/07 lifted 2wd's

I have wanted to lift my 06 2wd for a long time, just enough to get some 33's under there comfortably, I have read through most the recent talk of lifted 2wd's and I was wondering what you 06/07 guys went with. All I have found were the cst lift spindles for our year and this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Dodge...6608QQtcZphoto

Now I plan to go with the cst lift spindles in a couple of months but I was wondering what you guys used in the ways of leveling kits. I can't find crap for daystar or any other company, just that ebay link. Should that let me run 33's easily and safely?

I would imaging you could run 33's now. I sold my 33's toa guy with a stock (all but Superchips & exhaust, anyway) '06 4x2 QCSB Hemi when I putthe suspension lift on and went to 35's. Just like on my '04 4x4 when it was stock height, they cleared with a little bit to spare. But you should still level it out, I hate the permanent going downhill look...[:@]

i would think you could put 33s now. as for a leveling you can do spindles or spacers. i went with the spacers from daystar. their website is daystarweb.com or just look around on google, theres many of sites. id say they work fine, cant give you a real valid description of how the ride is since i have belt seperation in my tires which has caused a lump in the tires and the fact that i need longer/new shocks since it bottoms out here and there over speed bumps and pot holes. those 2 factors along with that i just found out today that my ball joints are bad(im not very happy) so with those factors the rides pretty bad. IMO id get the spacers and just make sure you get an alignment and have your camber/caster looked at or adjusted if needed to. now for my case im trying to squeeze in 35's and im trying to find out if they fit with a 3" body lift and 2.5" leveling kit.

mmstar23, the only 2.5 inch leveling kit I saw on daystars site was for 4x4's. Which spacer kit exactly did you go with?

check 4wheelsupply.com dude. thats where i got mine from. maybe start a thread on here to see if the 02-05 and the 06-08 have the same coil over suspension. you can call daystar too. call them directly, thats what i did when i got my package and it said 94-01 on the side of the box, but the tech said itll fit newer years too. so maybe ask some guys on here, call daystar, and do other research. my spacers are pretty good except for the other problems im having. one thing i tell you to do is after you make your purchase call daystar, or whoever the manufactur is. 4wheelsupply.com ships stright from daystar and not from themselves, so i called daystar to check on my package and it wasnt even getting shipped for another month until i spoke with their manager and she shiped it out that day. i dont know why it had a shipping date a month later but whatever. just follow up on your purchase!

i remember seeing something on ebay..one that was actually steel instead of polyurethane for a 2WD 06-08. i think that would be ideal instead of something that has potential to dry rot and compress.

thats for the one i was talking about, but i just saw that most of the spacers i saw said 02-07, which keys me to believe that if you buy the exact spacer i bought...you'll be fine. but dont quote me on that. maybe one of them that knows fr sure will chime in. but that metal one says it fits yours, and the others say 02-07 hich means to me we have the same suspension coil.
