Default Wiring and Coax routing

I am planning to mount my tool box and a headache rack onto the back of my 08 mega cab. The toolbox has some work lights and antenna installed. The box is off of my 97 Dodge that was traded in. How is the best way to route the wires and coax cables into the cab where my switches and radio will be located?

I'd say go through your floor boards, but make sure you paint your exposed edges. You don't want that perty thang rustin up on you. go down through your bed over and up through the back of your cab. If you've got existing holes anywhere with rubber grommets slit em and go through them. Good luck bro. Post pics when it's done for us.

+1 and if you do drill a hole in the floor board be sure to throw a dab of silicone in there

i had a truck like that once and on the box i mounted 2 outdoor gfioutlets with the flap. and i hooked it up to a heavy gauge electrical cord. when i got to a job like siding or other out door work i just pluged it in to the house and i had power, lights etc.

if it was me, for the money on GOOD racks u could buy a decent trailer with racks on it. i would rather pull a a small trailer than deface my truck. lol

The rack is mostly for security because I have a sliding rear window that I hope to use this summer when it gets hot outside. I also plan on getting one with the feet that a tool box sits on.
