you guys are pushing oil changes 25,000 miles?! in my manual it says 3000-6000 depending on driving conditions. does running synthetic oil hinder/void the warranty?I bought the lifetime warranty with my truck and the dealer went out of his way to tell me so save ALL oil and filter reciepts, he said Dodge would want to see them in the eventthat waranty issues should arise.

no, even confirmed this with parts service, as long as the oil isnt sludge when it comes out they cant blame it on the oil change intervals.

I use mobil1 oil and filter in my Ram and Civic. I change them both at 3k. There is too much money in both of them to have something go wrong because I wanted to stretch the oil change.

I have heard many people running upwards of 7k on regular mobil1 but I still change it.

If you are that concerned - have your oil anylized - that will tell you the condition of your engine and oil.
