I have them in 35" mounted on 17" rims. Great tires but as stated they seem to be wearing quickly. Noisy too, but unlike a lot of whiners on here [8D]I realize if I want a wide heavy treaded tire, it will be noisy. Look in my album and you can see them mounted but not on the truck and then on the truck. Realize I still have my stock 3.92 gears and the 35" tires are only about 2-3 inches taller than your stock street tires on 20" rims. I really wish I had went with 37's but oh well, heard from a birdy that the IFS has issues with 37" tires.

I have Cooper Discoverer STTs 35x12.5x20 and I love em. Very low road noise, heard they are great in the mud but I haven't really gone hard mudding so I don't know 100%. Good wear so far. My brother has them(33x12.5x17) on his 2500 diesel and agrees with me on all of the above and he has gone deep off road with them to pull some out that got stuck. I have also heard that the Nittos wear down quickly on the pavement but I can't say first hand. I went with 1/4" spacers because my tires rubbed the upper arm to the point of making the black paint turn silver (black rubbed off)

I know a lot of guys with 4x4's, mostly lifted 4x4's for that matter and I can't recall any of them having Cooper's. I guess it's just not a big south Ga. or Florida tire because I see a lot of posts in other parts of the country from people with them and have yet to read anything bad about them...

First time I heard of Cooper STTs was at the tire and exhaust shop. They are pretty trustworthy there and they said one of thier mechanics had them and he was very satisfied...they looked good so I took a chance and have had no complaints. I really liked the look of the Nitto Mud-Grapplers but heard about the noise and thought ehh, then heard about the bad wear and said nope...not for that much money just to have the wear out that fast. but like I said, I don't know first hand.

I have always been partial to BFG Mud Terrain. Traction is insane off road at normal pressure, drop it to 20 psi and they are unstopable. Their kryptonite is most definately their longevity on road. You're looking at about 30k miles and they're done.

I've had mine for 16,000 miles so far and it doesn't look as if they have worn. I'd say I still have well over a 1/2" of tread depth on the tires so I'm guessing to get atleast 50,000+ miles on them...maybe more.
