Guess im not alowed to link another forum?dont understand that, should be able to link other dodgesites if its to help out the members on here??Just delete the little star things in the link and type d*o*d*g*etalk (erase the stars in there too, ha ha)...Also I guess I should clarify, its not good for the hemi's, the 4.7 is fine. the 40 series dosnt flow anywhere near enough, call flowmaster and they will tell you that straight out. use the super 44 or 50 series. I started out with a 40 series on my truck before I knew better, when i found out about it not being good the next day I went and had a magnaflow put on and noticed a difference right away. When I had my true duals put on I went back to flowmaster because the magnaflow wasnt loud enough for me, I now have the flowmaster 50 HD put on. when this 50 wears out I will switch over to aero-turbine because the 50 isnt quite loudenough. While im on the subject a few years ago magnaflow and flowmaster both tested mufflers, in all cases the magnaflow showed a bigger HP gain; I will check to see if I can find the resukts from that test. If you want loud go with an aero-turbine, I have heard a few hemis with the AT and they sound bad a$$; alot better then the 40 series

Can you re-do that link? Why isn't it good for our truck? It's been doing just fine on mine???

The 40 isnt that restrictive of a muffler. Its better than stock, but there areother aftermarket mufflers that flow muchbetter. I mentioned it in another post earlier, its the 80 series flowmaster that really corks up the exhaust. Thats the crossflow thats designed for the camaro/firebird.
Also, using that single in dual out muffleryou'll have to ditch the factory pipes behind the muffler. The stock muffler is a single in/out 3in. You can either have the shop route pipes coming out the rear, or you can just put some turndowns coming out of the muffler. Either way, the stock pipe is pretty much useless with that muffler.
