I just put two Aero turbine 2525's and an x-pipe on mine and it sounds amazing.

I also have a flowmaster on mine. Maybe it's restrictive, maybe not. It suits me just fine.

hemi07 i would greatly appreciate if you could somehow post a sound clip or vid of your exhaust. i want the 14" magnaflow single in dual out, replacing my 40 series flow master single in single out.

Default magnaflows

if you hold the 18" magnaflow mufflers up to your eye you can see through them. they are the most unrestricted besides strait piped. flowmaster you cant see through because of the chambers and plates. magnflow gives you the best flow and horsepower. i have em on my 96 ram and dynod them compared to a 40 series delta flow ((flowmasters best flowing muffler)) and saw a 6hp differance and 11lb/ft differance. go with magnaflow. flowmaster is louder at idal but the magnaflow sounds awesome when under acceleration.

AT's are the best sounding mufflers out there IMO.

Flow comparison for the same physical sized mufflers.

Flowmaster 40 series = 200cfm

Magnaflow 14" = 410cfm

Twice the flow with a nice deep tone. Not all crackled and poppy like video 5 post above.

MMSTAR, welcome back, I haven't seen you around in awhile. No more sludge problems?

first off this was from last yr so i dont think that guy is back. and second it only sounded like that bc that was a cheap video camera that made the sound distorted when it was too loud

That is possible.
I had both on my 01 F150 that I had. The sound wasn't alot different due to it having 4 cat converters, but the Magnaflow did make a little more power. The Flowmaster was rotting off after 4.5 years. Replaced it with a Magnaflow. Stainless it the only way for me now. Do it once and do it right!!
