Default Center Console coin holder

I just bought my new Ram in Feb. I noticed this spot inside the center console that looked like a part was missing or specifically designed to be there. Then, remembering that my Dakota that I traded in, had a nice coin holder in it. After some checking, I found that the Ram will sometime include the coin holder in that spot. Checking some wholesale Mopar sites, I found the part costs around 50-60 dollars!!! Unbelieveable! You would think you were buying it from the Fed Government. Anyone know where to get one cheap, but new?

Hahah. I have an SLT and the coin holderwas missing from my center console as well. I have a buddy who owns a Laramie and when ever I go for a ride in his truck I steal his coin holderand then when he goes for a ride in my truck he steals it back. Been doing that for a couple years now. LOL.

Know anyone with a Laramie? ROFL.

Or just use, what I'm guessing is, the ash tray. I'm a non-smoker so that's no biggie for me.

Hello junk yard or ebay.
hello who the hell uses coins??? i stopped accepting change..... hate it, either falls out of my pocket in the truck or gets lost in the washing machine or even worse falls out in the dryer and clanks. I used to keep one of those (i think gallon size) large gatorade bottles in my washroom and would empty the change in it, well i got over 300 bucks in about 4 months and said F it, they totaly should get rid of the brown boys, think everything under .25 cent should be banned and make retailers price to round to a .25

I just use it for whenever I hit drive thru's so I can give exact change to avoid accumulating more change. I also keep a stash in the house that I roll up occasionally for a rainy day tank of gas.
