lubricates the entire fuel system-fuel pumps, fuel injectors or carburetors and the top-portion of the cylinders. These are areas, that by design, motor oil does not reach. Using Marvel Mystery Oil® in your fuel extends the life of these vital components by providing them with lubrication that fuel alone does not provide.

thank god for copy/paste, way to drunk to have typed that... feel free to chime in over in off topic....

Hooray beer!

And I had never heard of this stuff. Is it available at auto parts stores or just online and exclusive dealers like amsoil?

ive never seen beer sold at an auto store, but it would be helpfull, saves you from making two stops. although its been my experience that drinking only helps when youre working on your buddys truck, not yours....

lessadvanceauto should have em, oreillys etc etc.....

I changed my last truck to Mobil 1 somewhere around 130,000-150,000 miles. It did seem to start a slow leak at around 200,000, but the engine ran fine until I sold it at 283,000 miles (I guess it still is). It never leaked enough to need any more before the next change. All it did was make it a little dirty under the truck.

Mmstar how long do you plan to keep that rp in your truck before your next change? Since I run amsoil for 7500 I wouldn't trust one quart of a cleaning agent in there for that long. I usually run mystery oil for the last 1000 miles. That way it still cleans it out and them right after its done cleaning it gets new clean synth

What, did you grow up in a box. Marvel Mystery Oil has been around since like the 1920's, I don't know of any garage, shop or any place that had any kind of engine or tools that needed to be lubricated that didn't have a can sitting somewhere in plain view.

Even helps prevent d!ck burn when you're knocking it out all night.

Hammer I know you change your oil every 3 days but do you put 1qt mystery oil for the whole 3k miles?
I just dont trust it going in there for a long period of time. 1k is the most I'll let it run.

Sorry, I'm not a gear-head that grew up around garages and engines and things of that sort. Blame it on never having a father-figure in my life. Thanks for ripping open that wound and pouring the salt in. lol.
