I think the 04 has a muffler and 1 resonator...my 06 had one muffler and 2 resonators. My friend's 04 sounds louder and better than mine...until I had both resonators cut off and a flomaster put on. Now mine sounds a lot more like it should.

I had the same problem with the seals on my '03.You'd think that thecompany would cover a design flaw like that on a $30,000+ vehicle no matter what.Mine was a lease, and it slipped my mind to check to see if it was a covered item beforethe term ended.

I justpicked up an '04. (couldn't pass it up with only 21k miles)I did notice that the doors do rub onthis one the same way, if it gives me trouble, I'll be sure to look into it.Thanks for the advice on the TSB.

One other thing I noticed (sinceexhaust was brought upalso) The '04 is alot quieter than the '03 was. I know '03 was stock, and the '04 system appears stock. You know there's a difference when your Mom notices and says "it doesn't sound like the old one" LOL Did they make that much of a change to the exhaust in one model year?

Anyway, the noise (or lack there of)problemis being taken care of this weekend, with a 40 series.

I ordered the 55277190AB for the left side on mine but the way the seal is made it looks like it should go on the right side instead. If I put my 55277190AB on the left side (drivers side) the end of the seal that is back towards the rear drivers side door tapers off. Is that right? I would think that part would go down at the lower A piller of the drivers front door that would be under the top part of the fender.

Give me some input ppl.

[EDIT] Nevermind. I just looked the the part numbers and seen 55277190AB is for the right side and 55277191AB is for the left side. Guess I need to go order the left side Monday. Damn.

The taperd end go's forward thats how the keep the door from hitting the seal. It's not uncommmon for chrysler to pakage it wrong. I woluld like to balme it on FIAT but chrysler goofs it up all alone.
