Has anyone had this problem with the stripping around the door? The corner of the door rubbs the stripping, till it broke, the driver side is shown, the pass side is not as bad. has anyone else had this problem? Oh yeah, I waxed my truck for the seccond time with meguiars nxt I LOVE that stuff!

P.S. I just herd my neighbor leave in his 06 QC Hemi 1500; it's so quiet compared to my truck! It sounds like crap! We both have the stock exhaust system too. MDS.

Once you put these on, the problem is solved. They retail for $12.75 each. You can put them on in less than a minute per side. Once you see the new design, you will know that this problem is behind you...

Well, Dodge will only pay for it if it is still under the 3/36 warranty...But you could call the customer service hotline and complain and see if they will pay for it....

My truck is way over the warranty....109K, but it's always worth trying. Accept for ANY the dealers in my town/area charge more for vehicles/parts/service than the dealers that are an hour away from me. I haven’t bought a car in my town since 1998. They never have what I want, or even one time, they told me that that car isn't made in that color when I drive 1 hour away and i have a wide variety. I don't really mind paying for the part...american made cars have parts that are a lot cheepter than japanese cars.

It isn't the MDS making your neighbor's truck quieter. Most likely it the three-years-newer exhaust system. On the first subject, my '03 door seals don't do that. I wonder if the PO had 'em changed. I think his dealer took pretty good care of him. The tranny fluid was clean, the diff fluid was as well. The only real overdue maintenance item so far was the plugs.
