it's cool lookin, but a huge draw back to it is that it's drawing in hot air from under the hood which defeats the purpose of a CAI...it's cool, i'll give ya that, but it defeats the purpose

Key word being "functional" then I'd say yes, it'd work a ton better. Just remember, functional hood scoops don't care much for rain...

i was thinking about getting that same one....but i wouldnt stick my filters right there so they suck in some hot *** air....ya it breathes better but thats straight engine temp air lol. id have to buy some tubing and make the 2 filters go to the front of the truck now thats a CAI....

You know I wonder why nobody had moded an AC vent to blow into the plenum(thats the black box in front of the tb)
Maybe we can all PM redram and ask him to do a DIY.
