From what i've seen... tire places use the pumpkin.... Ive used the pumpkin... Not to do brakes but just rotating tires... Not sure how long it would take for it to start the warp/bend if you left if up for long periods of time... But nevertheless.... Once the vehicle is off the ground you should be using jack stands anyways... Its for your safety...

yeah i like to live dangerously, ill even losen the pressure release valve a bit lol jk.. yeah gonna have jack stands under the chassis, 4 of em, just gonna put the whole truck up so my buddy and i can knock out all 4 brakes quicker....

fortunaltely ive got a buddy (was at discount tire) at firestone so he just rotate em for me.

you know if theres a discount tire near by i think they only charge like 50 bucks for a rotate and balance, but its for the life of the tires, so even if you wanted to do it every 5k miles you can. yeah you can do it yourself but that does take some time to do....

Just make sure there isn't a lot of weight in the bed. Lifting by the pumpkin is not recommended if there is a lot of weight. Otherwise, it's fine.
