OK, I'm doing this as I go, so here we go. This is what you need:

RE: Tail Light Tinting DIY
Take The light off of the truck and CLEAN it good!!!

Tape off anything you don't want coated! It's hard to see in the above picture because I used clear tape. I cut 5" circles and they fit around the round parts of the light pretty good.
Start painting. Do a few coats until you like the darkness. VHT is VERY runny!!!

RE: Tail Light Tinting DIY
I recommend cleaning the lights again, letting it dry then clear-coating. Some people wet-sand before the clear-coat, cleaning again, then clear-coating.
I'm going to attempt to put the Ram logo on the top round light and do one more coat. Then I'm going to clear-coat it.

Here is how I did the ram logo.
1. I printed out a 4 1/2" ram logo.
2. I used spray glue, and glued it to the BACK of a stick-on sheet protector.
3. Then I cut out the individual pieces.
4. Then I peeled off the clear parts and put them on the light by freehand.
Here are some pics, they're hard to see because the ram is clear plastic...

Then I put ONE single coat on...
