I'm wanting a gun rack that runs along the top of my ceiling. Ive found some that screw into the visor hole but it will cover up the overhead console. I'm wanting a place to keep my shotgun, in Texas I just leave it in my rear seat, but am worried bout just leaving it there when I'm living in fla as I'm sure someones gonna want to steal it. It'll be nice for when I'm out spotlighten, as of now I just have it propped up between my knee and the door, but don't worry theres always alcohal involved and generaly I have a 14 year old drive the truck. But if any of yall have seen something like what I'm looking for. I really don't want to have to drill, I was thinking bout some good strength magnets to use a a base for mounting some brackets.

I think I may have asked about this a while ago.

 

have you considered a rear-window rack? i mean, that with a tinted window makes it somewhat un-seen. especially if you have it at the level of the head rests...

these are what i'm talking about. they're mounted against back window, on inside of cab:

I have this $19.95 solution, you can't tell they are in there with the tinted windows unless you stick your face right upto the glass.

derrick- does that bucket fit into the oem buckets or do you have to figure out how to take them off.

Hammer- yeah ive been thinking bout those, have two dogs in the back seat so don't know how often they scratch it up. They prob wind up chewing the damn thing. I walked into my backyard and have seen them chewing on a block concrete.

Highduke- it makes it a lot easier to shoot the hog when someone else is driving. Less likely to spill the beer you got sitting between your legs when you don't have to steer.

haha i used to have one of those rear window ones... its a pain in the @$$ for anyone sitting near it they will bump their head... Im fancy now i just throw them in the back seat in cases.... no worries..

 

whats a case? i just keep mine laying in the back seat right now. I generally always leave it in the cab. never know when yer gonna see some targets...


i found this for my pistol, but its 130 bucks and thats a lot of ammo and the center console works fine for my pistol..


now i just found this, but it only goes up to 05 dodge ram.....[:'(][:'(]
its only 75 bucks..
