I have a 2006 QC, with the MDS. I live in a small *** town with lots of stop signs i get 12-13. in a larger City (Like Reno, NV)
i was getting around 14-15. On the Highway I am more than happy with it on average I get 18-19 on a 180 mile trip. I have
got as much as 21 going 140 miles but lots of downhill, same trip got 18 back. All highway I have Cruise set at 70
Mostly hand calculated, but my computer has not been more than .5 miles off.

Truck has stock tires, flowmaster muffler.
Hope this helps some

Chris, is it safe to say this then 19 + 13 = 32/2 = 16mpg is your average?

Dodgeramguy, unless your pops is planning on doing a lot of HWY, like ohio said, you will not see any benefits of mds. My friend has a 2007 HEMI, he says that miami is all stop and go traffic and he is getting 13mpg with mds. He says that the only time he got a high number is when he jumped on the HWY to go hunting. That was cruising at a constant speed 65mph. All I gots to says is, you are buying a truck, if you are so concerned with gas prices, get a SMART car. No'ffense.

if he is concerned about gas prices then dont even bother getting a truck, let alone a hemi. I havent heard of any impressive mpg with the MDS.

my dad plans on getting the flowmasters if he gets a truck so that will help out a little. he works for a company called toll brothers (house builder) he is the virginia QA inspector for all of their houses so he is on the highway 90% of his trip and his distance varies from 20-100miles one way. he doesnt want to spend alot since he just bought his jeep a year ago. down the road from me in pa is a place called blue **** auto they have alot of good prices but no 08s so he is stuck with 06 or 07. as long as he gets about the same or moreas his jeep he will be happy.

he wants a truckhe is remodeling his house and plus he hauls alot and his jeep cant fit an atv in the back lol

has there been any problems with 06 or 07?

THANKS FOR ALL THE INFO GUYS!!!!!!

This one sounds good:

I think he can get it lower since trucks arent moving much. At least down here theys aint.
If HWY is all he does and he uses it for business, better, claim all those gas fillups next year
