i was one of them. i had the stock 17"s with my ram st. upgraded to the stock 20" chrome clads from someone with a sport model. i still haven't fixed speedometer. but yea, here's what i figured out.
the difference in diamter was causing my speedometer to read 8.2% slower...which is quite a bit.

And you can take it to the dealership and have the computer flashed to correct the problem. Also corrects the shift points to compensate for the larger rolling mass.
Some guys end up getting charged for it .... some don't depends on the dealership & when (how ) you ask.
