Default new stereo

I'm looking to replace my front speakers and deck in my 02 Ram. The speakers both blew a few months ago and I think I'm due for an upgraded deck so I can run my mp3 player. Can you give me an suggestions?? I am having a hard time finding choices that will be compatible with my truck AND allow me to still use my steering wheel controls (don't want to lose em)

there are alot of options....

start here:

http://www.crutchfield.com/S-JXBWb4A...x?i=127SWIJACK

So now we have narrowed it down to which HU brands you can use Alpine, JVC, Kenwood, Clarion, Blaupunkt

And you want to be able to use your MP3 player...

that narrows it down to about 100 lol

now it's just a matter of how much you want to spend

he/she is looking to keep the steering wheel controls, so we can rule yours out :P

as far as speakers go.... it's 6x9 front and 6 1/2 rears.... 3 1/2 in the dash you can even get 6 1/2's to fit in the front if you'd like.

at crutchfield, there are steering wheel controls for aftermarket HU's. its actually a sensor with wiring to the HU from the steering wheel. i have it in my moms car and it workls the same as if we had the stock HU in.
