Only thing id worry about being an 06 is the paint fade. Depending on the condition of the paint, you may have some REAL noticable spots where ya dumped the badges.

paint fade should not be an issue...i debaged my truck less then a yr ago and it was already 3 yrs old....i wouldn't think you'll have any issues with that...but also depends on how well kept you keep your truck...

even if there is a little paint fade, you can get a buffer and polish it out to where it'll look pretty darn close to the rest of the paint around it....the paint fade on my 02 ram wasa little more noticeable but i think thats mainly cause it was a dark color, and shows easier on dark colors

I pulled mine off a week ago on a 05, no fade. I would not worry about an 06.
