Default Turning your own brakes?

I was wondering if anyone has attemped to turn their own brakes. I'm a professional machinist and have access to a lathe. Just wondering if it is even possilbe.

my buddy at firestone did one of my rotors and I them did the other. Wasnt hard. Rotors were only 31k miles into it.

btw dont even bother with the rears, thats just a waste of time and not needed.

yeah it's possible as long as you don't have to machine them too much...they get too thin and they your gettin into dangerous territory of the rotors not bein think enough to handle the heat and all that other crap...but it tells ya right on the rotor what the specs are

first time unless theyre really F'd up theyre still thick (perverts) enought not to warp, the second time should be fine as well but after that dont do it....
