Default 2004 ram w/hemi

hi im new to this forum but was wondering if theirs anyone out there who's installed a k&n cold air intake, if so is it worth it? im not looking for improved milage, but more power.thanks.

i have a 07 hemi and i have the 77 series intake, it didn't make much difference if any on the milage and you really only gain between 8 to 10 hp according to k&n it does make a noticable difference in the sound of your exhaust though. I like mine some people say its a waste of money but everyone is different

+ 1. i agree with all that, my milage didnt go up at all. i think i can feel a little extra kick in horse power but not much, but damn it, it sounds good.

An air intake is one of those mods that on it's own, gains are very minimal. But in combination with other related mods (exhaust, headers, tuner) the gains of all the components working together are greater than their sum individually.

well it's a start, i just installed from the cat back dual exhaust with a flowmaster 40 series, which sounds great and next is the k & n cold air intake,im very happy so far with the performance,but as we all say some's good more's better, and i want to thanks all you people who responded, this is really a great site, this is my first dodge truck and so far im liking it!!!

b.t.w, i raced a bracket 1/4 mile vega years ago and 6-8 hp gains were very costly!!!lol.
