160k Miles Too Much??
hi
there is a 2002 V6 2doors with 160k miles on the engine for sale, 2 doors.
Overall seems to be in good conditions, the interior is mint, the pastics are in good shape, everything inside works well, at the outside the paint is in very good condition (black), no dents
no chips (repainted i asume), but the engine has 160k miles
i have heard that v6 engines are very strong
opinions?
thanks guys

RE: 160k Miles Too Much??
that's a lot of miles.
Not directing this just at you, but I'm sick of people asking if something is a good buy and then not list the price.
Has the tranny been rebuilt yet, if it hasn't get ready for it to take fat dump on you, won't be more than 2k to replace. But hope you're not paying more than 2k for the truck.

haha $3500! wow, that seems a decent price...but it still has a lot of mileage on it so you'll end up fronting nearly $4,000 to get it back up and running in good shape after you drive it for a while more. Either way, $3500 isn't too much money but just keep in mind that there are a lot of miles on it.

kelly blue book's private party value in "excellent" condition prices it at $5k.
i guess it's not a bad deal, but like everyone said, that's a ton of miles. consider getting a new one for like 15k, putting your 3500 towards down payment, and pay $250 a month for a while.
^^ on top of that, you got the whole drivetrain warranty thing too.
